| 64 mercury hot rod. i have a 1964 mercury monterey that i need to sell it has a fresh motor and trans. it was origionally equipped with a 390 fe block but i have since updated it to a 460 big block from the 385 series and upgraded the trans from an fmx to a c6 to handle the added torque. it also has an up graded alluminum radiator, pro billit hei distributor and gm one wire alternator. the car was re wired by bruce stedman about four years ago when i got it with a painless harness. it has a custom air box as well as functional hood scoop (added to fit new motor). it also has brand new dual exhaust that is run all they way back to give you that deep mellow tone but you are still able to injoy the radio and hold a conversation in the car. on the inside i have all the trim panels for the car i have made new door panel blanks as well as fabricated a custom center console. it is shifted by a hurst pro ratchet shifter molded into the console as for a radio it now has 5 6/9 speakers powered by a new cd player. it also has a brand new carpet kit already trimmed and installed. for the electrical i moved the battery to the trunk, i installed a battery disconect in the console, and positive / negative jumping points under the hood. as for exterior body mods i have shaved the trim that runs along the top of the fenders/doors/quarters all the way down. like i stated earlier i installed a hood scoop to the vehicle, i molded the front bumper into the fenders and i grafted 94 cadillac taillights onto the back. it still retains the stock back bumper. it is a running, driving car and is currently registered and insured. the car is about 80 percent finished but needs someone to take it the rest of the way home. if you are interested in the car please cal me at 951 816 8493 my name is jared. thank you |

It has only had two owners... an older couple who sold it to me 5 years ago with around 82,000 miles on it and me! MAKE AN OFFERThe truck only has 95,000 miles on it now which is great for a 20 YEAR OLD truck. As you can see, I havent taken it very far in the 5 years I have owned it (less than 15,000 in 5 years). The truck has been kept up with oil change, transmission services, etc. I put a new radiator and fan in just a few months ago so it drives great. I have also recently fixed the air conditioning so it gets ice cold. Interior is practically perfect and I have installed a CD player. This truck is two wheel drive but with some extras could become a great off road vehicle. I always thought about doing it but never got around to it.
